Bought it to power a telescope german equatorial mount (meade lxd-75). Tested it out and worked great, should power the scope for at least 10h with normal use (and appropriate cable to connect battery to scope was actually included in the package!).Bit confused about the indicator lights though. Plugged into the charger and it charged to four green led's overnight. Red LED did not switch off or change to green when charged completely as instructions suggested it would. Don't know if this is a flaw or not but it makes it difficult to know if full charge is reached (edit: four green led's indicate full charge - the red light seems to only indicate that the power switch is on).Does this have overcharge protection? not sure.Note: with 12V-16V car lighter-type voltage converter, this will charge a macbook laptop - in my test it charged an apple 13" macbook pro completely with power left over. Probably triples your working time if you start with a full charge.
