We are new to pyrography and have read many reviews and descriptions of a variety of products. Our main concern was the grip and durability of the pen. Some reviewers of this product have warned that it is easy to break. We were very concerned but decided to try this product first. We read and reread the instructions to make sure we didn't break any of the nibs in the pen and ruined the product. Well we just burned 120 orchard name tags and it was a lot of fun and easy. If you just let the pen do all the work, simply letting it slide across the surface, you not only save the pen but also your hand, wrist and forearm. Rarely do you come across a product that far exceeds your expectations, but this is one of those products. We are eager to learn more about this craft and highly recommend this product. If you respect the pen, the warmth, and the craft, you will find days and months of creative joy.
