Pretty aggressive and durable crampon set. I originally bought them to help me maneuver my snow thrower on slippery/snowy days and I can assure you they will do the job. These Miracol cats also come with a lovely little storage box. She conveniently stows the boots in a small, handy soft shell bag. Nice bonus! They also have clear "Front" markings to aid in installation. The lugs are about half an inch long and offer good traction on ice or packed snow. With the spikes on these crampons you will not slip in such conditions. They fit perfectly on my size 12 Kamik snowshoes. Many brands claim that they are made for size 12 shoes, but don't take into account that size 12 snowshoes are much larger than size 12 sneakers. Miracol did. The size and fit are perfect for my winter boots. The only downside I found is that they are not very comfortable when walking on bare, hard surfaces. You can almost feel the cleats pressing against the sole of the shoe. But that's only when walking on bare pavement or other bare hard surfaces - which I don't think is a disadvantage considering they're made for ice. Also be aware that they don't stick very well to a department store floor. I ran into a shopping cart in the middle of the store because I couldn't stop in time. I just kept sliding like I was wearing ice skates. TL;DRExcellent traction in the right conditions with an excellent snowshoe fit. They are also very slippery on a department store floor.
