I got this because I wanted to connect a security camera via USB and add outlets in the garage and the title says it's 3.4A per plug. It does its job, but it doesn't really deliver 3.4A. The camera wouldn't charge the battery or start the camera when plugged into a power strip, but this changed when plugged into an outlet that was powered by a power strip was plugged in. It was a little disappointing. I can only guess it's not 3.4 amps per slot but 0.85 per X 4 slot. In short it works pretty much as advertised but the marketing doesn't live up to what it promises. It will likely charge your phone, but not at all for high-demand devices.
