These are definitely more durable than the chinsy factory grille inserts.
I ordered this set so I could have custom decals made for the wife's Jeep, as you can't find these inserts in pink. My vinyl guy did an awesome job as always and when I was removing the factory inserts and installing these, one of the bolt retainers broke on the paper thin factory parts.

- The glossy black finish may attract more dirt and grime than a matte or textured finish, making it difficult to keep clean
