Love it! (But not in the microwave.)

Perfect for storing your lunch or dinner portion. I'm an avid cook, but my family has other dietary concerns: my son is on a low-oxalate diet to prevent kidney stones and my husband has colon cancer so he doesn't tolerate much fat and has problems with bloating. vegetable production. So I have to cook very different meals for them and since the overall recipe yields a lot more than they can eat before it goes bad or they get bored it's great to have on hand to freeze. They fold up nicely and are a good size for eating. I put them in the dishwasher and identify the foods by the can labels. My only complaint is that sometimes my freezer gets so full that when I open the door, these containers fall out and pop open, rendering them unusable. I change them all the time. But that's my problem, not the manufacturer's. I don't use them in the fridge as I try to only use glassware to store food for safety and health reasons. But when food gets thrown out of my freezer because it's full, I don't want to risk using my glasses and breaking them. You are perfect. However, they are made of plastic and therefore contain chemicals. Even BPA-free plastic contains chemicals; they just don't realize how harmful they are to us. Purists say we shouldn't use plastic for anything. I think that's unrealistic as buying glass storage for EVERYTHING is pretty expensive! And not practical for a freezer where it can fall out and break, or to take to work etc as the glass is heavy. I wouldn't use them in a microwave as they say the heat can cause the plastic to release chemicals into the food or melt it. horror! So just don't.
