The main problem is the complexity of the controls, which is more like a puzzle that needs to be solved before the device can be controlled. Since the front panel is not backlit I had to stick on the control number IDs (21) to try to program the unit. You must use a bright flashlight to see the buttons on the panel. Many of the control buttons are multifunctional, requiring short and long presses (duration not specified) to perform various functions. Pressing any button does not guarantee that the result will match the result stated in the instructions. Pressing a specific button does not make reliable contact. I couldn't program more than one FM station or change the time. The sound quality is harsh and scratchy. I would not recommend this device to anyone.
