Gave as a gift to my Dad to use in camping gear. My kids and I camp every year with my Dad and his wife so I had the opportunity to try it out and it was great. Sturdy, very nice looking, each individual piece fulfilled it's intended purpose perfectly. The knife and spatula are both very sharp. The spatula, obviously, cannot be used on any type of non-stick pan. (It will strip the coating). This case has everything needed. Everything is dishwasher safe and has its own little place inside the case helping to keep things very organized. Each piece snaps in and pulls out easy enough but with enough resistance that they're not going to fall out on their own. But just make sure there are also little Velcro straps to help keep things in place. The skewers worked great also. Held two pounds of chicken perfectly. The little rings at the end of them never got hot until the very end when we closed the lid all the way down and left it until done. My Dad is a very hard guy to shop for but this gift was a slam dunk. Not only did he love it, it was a gift I was proud of and something I was excited to give him. After handling all the pieces and having the opportunity to BBQ with them myself, I can tell that this set will hold up nicely over time and my Dad will get alot of use out of it camping in the years to come with his wife, daughter and grandsons. The only 2 minor issues/concerns that I have is:1. There was a very small, slight dent in one of the lower corners of the carrying case. Barely noticeable though, but because my dad was going to use his set strictly for camping he wasn't too worried about it. It's bound to get more dings and dents anyway.2. The other issue is a little bit more of a concern though, and that is the handle on the carrying case. It's a very ticky, tacky, flimsy plastic that that I don't expect to last any longer than half the lifespan of all the contents inside the case. But, my Dad loves everything else about it and has chosen to take a risk with the flimsy handle, aware of it's fragility. All in all, even after taking into consideration both the small ding and flimsy handle on the carrying case, I still chose to give this item a 5 star. Overall it was great! If I could take off like a quarter of a star I would, but since that's not an option, I have to rate this item with 5 stars.
