So let's get started. Pros: * Very comfortable and very stylish. I have many accessories for these shoes and they look great with riding jeans. Sometimes, after I finished riding, I forgot I had them on and didn't take them off. * Price comparable to other everyday running shoes * They are great in dry conditions. No problem * Contactors are thick and work great * Air flows through them well. * Laces, zipper and velcro seem to be well made. As I said, over 1000 miles with no problems AGAINST * ABSOLUTELY NO GRIP IN WET OR MUD, SAND OR GRAVEL. I almost dropped my bike when I stopped and looked at the map. Got off the road onto some gravel and just sat there. My leg slipped right under me and I almost lost it. Same goes for stopping at a red light or whatever when the ground is wet. Absolutely no clutch. * Ankle protection could be a bit higher. * Definitely not waterproof * The rails and soles pick up a lot of dirt and are subject to impact, further reducing traction. * Many small frayed seams and tears. I'd be surprised if they lasted next season. Overall I would say they will be my "City" or "Commutation" shoe at least until they die, but I wouldn't trust them on long rides or tours, I'll get a proper foot/ Ankle protection buy long distances.
