I decided to try this because it was cheaper than the merino wool base layers of some of the famous brands I had. I wore it a few times during this review. I can report that it feels light and has helped keep me warm, just like a base layer should. It's not as soft as the Smartwool base layers I've used, but it's comfortable and doesn't itch. The training and weather conditions are too different for me to offer a scientific comparison of which brand is warmer. At the time of this review, it's still too early to talk about durability.
