Review on Auto Meter 6178 Cobalt Wideband by Shah Jones

Purchased direct from Summit Racing so you will not see a verified purchase tag in this review. But you need to know no matter what. Installed in 2016. That summer, the digital display's LED segments began to fail. Now it becomes difficult to interpret the numbers as most of the numbers are missing at least two segments, so it could be "1" or "4" etc. This has nothing to do with the reliability of the sensor, but it would certainly be nice to have a feature that turns it off or dims it heavily when it's dark outside. When driving at night, it is too bright and highly glaring when mounted on the A-pillar. I am thinking of making a small hood to hide during my winter morning commute. Now that I've typed in my fuel card, I don't need to see it all the time anyway.
