I really like these shorts. I often use them when traveling. The shorts' stretch and flex ratio reduces the extra fatigue that can be caused by traditional cargo shorts. The moisture wicking properties are great and I was cooler and drier than the standard shorts. There are a couple of downsides though: The downside of the compression pants is that they are loose around the seam, so they are loose around my leg. I'm a skinny 6ft 200lbs so the plus size is perfect apart from the previously mentioned downside. In addition, the outer shell can be thinner and lighter.
