I bought a necklace for one of my pendants but it didn't look right and I felt the necklace should be an inch longer. So I searched and decided to buy these extension cords. The color of these matches my gold chain. They feel solid and the lobster clasp is great. My photo shows a 1 inch extender attached to my gold chain. My gold chain is 2.6mm.
