Didn't work with external drive
Purchased for the purpose of using USB3 as external storage. An external drive will not work with any of the USB3 or 2 ports. The drive works great when connected directly to the PS4. The drive is also powered by the AC adapter instead of the USB port. I'm not sure what the problem is, but if you're looking at this with the intention of plugging in an external drive, be careful.
