I got these specifically for their smaller 12” length to fit better on a 12” shelf and figured the lid lock & interlock stack features a nice addition. I recently caught & dragged 2 longer ones off on to the floor spilling the contents.These are certainly an improvement over my existing snap on lid types.Quality wise they are markedly more ridged, and the plastic material feels noticeably thicker than others. Additionally, these have small ¼” feet that interlock with corresponding indentations on the lid below, adding some stability as they are moved about. But they only sit in with gravity, not snap/ lock in tight.The lids do snap on to the bin itself with small handles which are a little more secure than the friction fit/ snap down type.Nice features but not so secure as in they would survive a fall from height or remain stacked for long in my truck.For my use the small improvement is not worth the $5 each price.
