I bought these for an old Christmas decoration from my grandmother. I removed it about 16 years ago because it used so many thin candles and my kids were small. I'm generally happy with the purchase, but there are a few things you should know before you buy. First, the base of the candles is made of hard plastic. This means they won't fit the mount exactly if the mount is a bit larger. I fixed this by putting a command stripe on each piece of tape. Second, I bought two packs. One of the candles didn't work no matter what I did. It wasn't a big problem for me because I had a few extra. The timer feature was fantastic. They turned on at the same time every night. (We started looking for the lights that come on each night). The texture of the wax is very pleasant. I'm very glad I found her.
