Nice kettle, works well. The problem is the size. Too small. Much less than I thought. It is written that it holds 2 liters. Well, that's exactly what it (barely) holds - if you fill it to the very top. The string "max padding" is just under half this value. If you actually want to boil water in it, you can't physically put 2 liters in it. With so much volume, not only is there no room to cook, it also flows out through the spout. I bought this as a gift for my mum to replace her old kettle but as she can only boil part of the water this kettle is useless to her. i will return it It's beautiful and she wanted to love it, but she just can't use it. Shame on Corelle for leading us to believe he's taller than he really is.
