Thick foam but does not adhere to the coffee table and the raw edges of the foam are difficult to align
I used this on an irregularly shaped oblong glass coffee table about 1/4 inch or 1/3" thick .It took a little time to measure and apply double sided tape.The foam has shrunk a bit overnight and I can see the gaps between the cut edges of the foam which I carefully measured the night before.The foam is thick but light My 15 month old accidentally ripped off the foam when trying to lean on the table and ended up banging his chin on the table.I will keep it as I have torn the bag and cut pieces of foam but I will will reinforce the edges with a heavy duty clear mailing table to ensure adhesion
