There are several Midwest sized cage inserts that will fit. But they fit right on the floor. This cage liner is the perfect size, so it's slightly larger than the floor of the Midwest cage so it rises a bit on the sides meaning it stays on the liner and doesn't move when piglets try to corner to go to the potty . Don't go on the bottom of the fuselage. The star pattern is awesome too. Looks good and the dark colors don't show that many blemishes. In addition, dark stars scattered across the pattern in all directions perfectly camouflage the "beans" around, making the cage look neat in more than 5 minutes after collecting. This was clearly designed by someone who understands the difficulties involved in trying to keep a clean space for guinea pigs (and looking clean). It's soft and holds up well to the first wash. As long as it continues to hold up well I will definitely be buying more of these for my rotation. The best cell liners I've tried!
