Despite the relatively high price (which I think you can get away with if there's no real alternative), this board is more flexible and flexible than I expected. If you use it on a rug or thick carpet, the board will flex so much when the lego pieces are attached to one area that the surrounding areas will flex so much that other pieces will come loose and have to be reattached. It's not a big deal as you can easily use it on a hard surface and it's not exactly a safety hazard, but it's just annoying, especially for young kids who want to play on rugs/rugs. I'm also concerned that the board might eventually snap due to the flex, but until that happens I guess I'll take it upon myself. Consider sticking it to an appropriately sized MDF or wood board for rigidity if only used on a rug/rug.
