I bought this battery as a replacement for my Roomba 692. The original battery had an 1800 mAh rating, so I wouldn't be crazy to expect a significantly longer run time on this battery than the original Li-ion battery that came with it. Well, that is not the case.so far.I was hoping that my 70 minute runtime on my carpeted upstairs could be expanded to around 140 minutes. Roomba 600 series don't have mapping, so it partially uses "battery life" to determine when a job is done. I was afraid with the irregularity of my upstairs room, the default battery was cutting out prior to getting full coverage. So an expanded capacity battery would be what the doctor ordered.Well I have yet to see that expanded time, although I will wait for a couple of full discharge and recharge cycles to see if run time extends significantly, based on the battery documentation that states you have to have several full cycle charges to see the maximum mAh rating.If you have an existing 1800 mAh Roomba battery that's dying, this one does seem to work well in my 692, so as a replacement Battery over the OEM battery that is over twice as expensive, it is a plus.But the jury is out on whether or not it actually lasts longer. We'll see about that.
