Strong but not strong
Beautiful basket but does not keep its shape on its own. It comes folded for transport so it looks like a pancake and wants to snap back into the pancake shape when opened. If you stuff it with blankets etc, it will keep its shape but cannot support any weight (other than the weight that will support the contents). All in all it's a good basket, but not a great one if you plan on stuffing things in and want to treat it like a box/bag.
