Although the product had the same metal handle and looked like the broken original, the plastic lift arm was not as tilted as the original. This is for a 29 year old Kohler Wellworth 4512 tank. The end of the lever almost touches the front inside of the tank (See picture with a lever on the edge of the tank. It often rubs when flushing. The chain is pulled at an angle towards the flap, not straight up. This oblique tension can cause the flapper can be pushed to the side a little and doesn't always seat properly. The flap then leaks until manually pushed in. The hook has been moved from the end to the middle of the arm. Also, the axle is a bit loose so there is a lot of play in the grip. Luckily it's cheap enough that swapping it out isn't a problem. I'm keeping it as a reserve for now. Editing after purchase added another lever: GP30324-CP Turns out Kohler has some cases that go to will fit various toilets that use the tank 4512. These will likely vary depending on the internal flushing mechanism used for a particular sub-model but towards the middle of the hand. It has eh a curve that takes the hand away from the wall and more over the flap. Another image shows a comparison of the 1069723-CP worn on the GP30324-CP: almost identical except that the 1069723-CP arm is tilted about 40 degrees from straight and the GP30324-CP is tilted about 60 degrees from straight line is inclined. Strangely the GP30324-CP is marked for the Cimmaron toilet, but it works quite well in this Wellworth. Before you buy, compare your tank mount to the photos on it and decide which one fits. When in doubt call Kohler, they were very helpful.
