This skull model is a great resource for any medical student. I'm currently doing a lot of homecare prep courses and don't have any models from school so this is a welcome help. It's actually a life-size skull. The skull is divided into two parts, one side is designed to help you understand which parts of the skull it belongs to and the other side is designed to show what muscles are attached to the skull. It is very detailed and the audibility is somewhat open. Just be very careful with him. I barely opened it and the spring broke because it wasn't screwed in and tightened properly. I was able to fix it with pliers and a screwdriver, but it can definitely be dangerous so I wouldn't recommend opening it. If you need to look at the underside of the lower jaw, I suggest turning it upside down. Aside from that hiccup, this skull was a golden and valuable resource to me. Highly recommended.
