My little green cheeked kennel doesn't seem to understand that it's warm - even after I put him next to him he doesn't come back to him (or maybe I just didn't see). ). Besides that, as soon as I put him right next to the seaweed hut he sleeps on, he started sleeping an extra 2 hours every morning! He always snuggles up to him when he sleeps (I can't open his cage to get enough light for a photo without waking him up, so no photos yet unfortunately). Even before that I was impressed with the packaging and quality and was assured that it posed no safety risk. Someone said it wasn't warm enough, but it *must* not be hot, that would be dangerous. It's about the warmth of a bird companion snuggling up to them while they sleep. It's very comfortable when my hands are cold and I lean them against them, but otherwise it feels slightly warm. nighttime hugs that we can't safely offer. :) And if your bird is easily stressed, it can help them feel more comfortable and confident.
