NOT FOR PEARL STORAGE!

Well these are strong tubes, they don't bend. And the lids won't come off accidentally. So if this definition fits your needs, they should work fine for you. However, I bought to store beads. Definitely NOT FOR A PEARL. Removing the lids is so difficult that when the lid comes off your beads will fly all over the place. The other reviewer is right about the bead storage and you can read his review. Again, NOT FOR PEARL STORAGE. I returned them all.

Wide Application: Ideal for making bead jewelry and other crafts. In fact, it's also very handy to store small items for use at home or even when fishing! This plastic storage box is ideal for storing small beads, accessories or other craft items.

Didn't work for what I needed. The tubes taper, the one end is much more narrow than the top.
