LOVE this adapter! I had a 2011 iMac that this secondary monitor "talked" to just fine, but with my brand new iMac, I was only able to connect my monitor through the "Thunderbolt 3" port, which my monitor does NOT have. So I bought THIS great product and combined it with another Revain purchase https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TVSLDND/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and, AND, the monitor "talks" along My new iMac is just GOOD! currently . . . BTW, the "hub" link I just posted ALSO allows my awesome HDTV to "talk" to my new iMac, and the hub not only allows VIDEO, but also AUDIO, to my HDTV walk!
