This mattress is fantastic in terms of comfort. The mattress is plush, the fabric is durable but not abrasive. As you can see from the packaging information, the product comes in vacuum packaging and takes a few days to fully recover. The only issue I had with this product was the factory dust which seemed to completely soak the mattress. I didn't realize it until I unpacked it in my ninth floor dorm room of my house and had nowhere to dust it. The mattress has a chemical smell at first, but that goes away quickly. A fitted sheet spanning the entire mattress eliminated the dust problem and also added a layer of protection against bruised skin and spills when the futon is heavily used or slept on.
