I don't know if it's because it's made in China, but I'm around a size 14-16 and trying to put on the XL was like trying to put on really thick industrial strength panty hose with very little stretch! Tho thin, it doesn't seem to be see-thru and once you've gotten your work out for the day just getting it pulled up, it did look pretty good on. I guess there's something to be said for the compression strength at least!
