Expensive Back Scratcher/Dog Brush

So I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they might suit a shorter/finer coated dog who isn't smart enough to get under or around it. They are quite expensive for 1 square which doesn't really cover a regular sofa or chair cushion. When we checked, the first thing he found was that he wasn't supposed to be there (unless there was a thunderstorm, then he was at the top like it wasn't there). When we weren't looking, he just walked around or under it. I'm quite uncomfortable just putting my hand down and I can't even sit on it with my clothes on. Our other dog has a shorter coat and doesn't climb on it. But we have an Australian Cattle Dog that can now groom itself so it's not a total loss of money. I just can't leave it where I don't need it. I would still prefer something like this to a less humane method like a shock partner, but it would cost A LOT. They have spots where you could probably tie it to something to prevent an animal from getting under it or just to move it around, but that can make moving them around for human use like the family sofa cumbersome. If you're using it for a counter, you'll probably need to bend it or tie the two together to cover the front and side of the counter and then secure it somehow so it doesn't fall off.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Requires Socket
