Conclusion This mic kit is incredible value for money, but the bracket and bracket are definitely cheaper. But even if you plan to upgrade in the future, this is a great kit that offers a very professional audio setup for $50 (price is hovering around $60 at the time of this review, but I paid $50 ). : The cost of this kit is amazing. The mic sounds every bit as good as the $150 USB mics I've used, and the fact that it comes with a decent shock absorber, windscreen, popscreen, XLR cable, and mount is incredible. Cons: I had some problems. with an adjustable/stable mount and it's definitely a cheaper build quality, but that's a nitpick given the price. It also seems that most sets use the same type of hand, so you'll likely get the same thing in each of the sets available. If you are looking for an improved adjustable and stable mount, check out Rhode or Knox mounts for $50-70. Neutral: You need phantom power to operate the microphone. This should be obvious if you've seen or used non-USB mics in the past, but keep this in mind when purchasing this kit. I chose the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for my setup, which I highly recommend, but there are cheaper options if you just want a basic audio interface and power supply.
