Review on Garmin Forerunner 945 HRM Wi-Fi NFC Smart Watch, Blue by Ada Siembor ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I have been using the watch for three weeks, I am very satisfied. They work well, do not bug, do not freeze. When exercising three times a week in the gym on a treadmill and wearing the watch almost constantly throughout the day, including at night (i. E. the heart rate monitor works constantly, but the pulse oximeter is turned off), with constant synchronization with the mobile application, the battery lasts for about 10 days.

Pros
  • 1) Light weight, the watch is practically not felt on the hand. 2) A very large functionality of the clock, which allows you to keep track of almost any activity. 3) For life, and running in particular, the watch allows you to keep track of a very large number of indicators: the number of steps, speed, pace, heart rate, calorie intake and consumption, Body Battery function, breathing rate, intensive activity time, climbing floors, indicator VO₂, Functional Threshold Power (to account for the latter, use the chest heart rate monitor that comes with this kit). The Training Effect function is convenient, allowing you to evaluate the effect on the body of anaerobic and aerobic training. The watch allows you to track different phases of sleep. And so on and so forth. 4) The widest possibilities for displaying any indicators of activity during a workout on the watch screen - you can configure the visualization from one to six indicators. The location on the screen of this or that indicator can be set manually, making their presentation convenient for you. You can also choose to view data on the watch screen outside of training from your favorite watch faces, which are free to download and install. Everything can be very personalized. 5) A convenient mobile and browser application that allows you to create distances and sectors, plan workouts, view the results of classes in the form of graphs and numbers. 6) Badges, which are given in the application as rewards for certain achievements, are an additional incentive for training.
Cons
  • 1) The high price of the watch itself and the even higher price of the blue HRM kit. 2) On the treadmill and when running in the gym, the watch does not show the distance correctly. But, this is probably nitpicking, since all sports watches sin with this. After class, you have to manually edit the distance in the application. At the same time, after the adjustment, for some reason, not all indicators are recalculated taking into account the new distance data.
