Installed Weij solar panels parallel to the doorbell 3 solar charger

I just finished installing Weij solar panels in parallel with the Ring Doorbell 3's solar charger The reason for this is that the Ring Doorbell 3 only uses 0.44W of direct charging power has sunlight, while Weij solar panels have a charging capacity of 1.6W, so my total charging power has been increased to 2W. My Ring Doorbell 3 uses 0.29Wh/day, which means it goes from 100% battery to 20% battery in about 2 months (battery only, no additional charge). I only get about 1 hour of direct sunlight and about 11 hours of indirect sunlight. The quality indicator is that indirect sunlight has about 10% of the charge capacity compared to direct sunlight. So, my summer wh-hours: 2 w * (1 hour) + 0.2 w * 11 = 4 w * h; in summer and winter 50% less than 2 Wh; Winter So, the above suggests that I should have enough chargers all year round. This project was started because of the Ring Doorbell 3. I have found that some blocks are not assembled correctly and I have one of those broken blocks where the jumper connector from the Ring Solar Charger is connected to the Ring Doorbell 3 in reverse, unfortunately you can't accidentally swap the connector, you actually need to open the Ring Doorbell 3's solar charger and swap the wires (either that or cut the jumper and swap the wires). The Ring Doorbell 3 has a controller board inside. So if you do this you need to: 1. Check the Ring Doorbell 3 power alignment on the Ring Solar Charger, you can swap the jumper and then test your phone to see if the Ring Doorbell 3 solar charger detects is the Orientation correct once the Ring Doorbell 3 app detects you have connected a solar charger.2. If the jumper correction is correct, you can mount the Ring Doorbell 3 on the base of the Ring Doorbell 3's solar charger, if you do it the other way around, you won't be able to mount the Ring Doorbell 3 on the base of the solar charger. Doorbell 3, solar charger. Remember/note whether the jumper is swapped or not.3. Open the Ring Doorbell 3 charger, remove the screws with a jeweler's screwdriver. There is a screw under the Ring label on the back of the Ring Solar Charger. Be sure to remove them.4. Carefully remove as much of the black rubber covering the cables and controller board as you can, this will take some time, be patient, methodical and slow to remove as much of the black rubber as possible. If the Ring Doorbell 3 jumper is swapped as determined in step 2, you must swap the wires by unsoldering, swapping the jumper wires, and resoldering.6. Use a file and sand off some of the plastic on the Ring Doorbell 3 so you can route the wires from the Wiej Solar panels to the Ring Doorbell 3's solar charger. Be sure to trim the Weij wires just enough to comfortably fit the Ring Doorbell 3.7 Solar Charger. You need to connect the wires of your Weij solar panels to the Ring Doorbell 3 solar panels in parallel, there are two sets of panels, one pair of connectors is on the top right and the other pair is on the top left. , connect Weigh's solar panels to a set of solar panel connectors. Make sure you have a voltmeter, go outside with the Ring Doorbell 3 solar charger and Weij solar panels and note which connection is positive and which is negative. You need to solder plus to plus and minus to minus.8. Carefully reassemble everything, make sure the jumper wire from the Ring Doorbell 3 solar charger to the Ring Doorbell 3 is not pinched and goes through the slot provided, make sure the Weij power wires fit snugly in the slots you created fit without getting pinched. 9 . Assemble the Ring 3 Doorbell and Ring Doorbell 3 Solar Charger as usual, following Ring's instructions. Another extra step in the guide is that you need to install the Weij solar panels to keep them from falling. Another tip: you can open the Ring 3 doorbell and measure the voltage on the solar panels. With the 3-bell doorbell open, take it in the sun and use a voltmeter to measure the connections of the 3-bell doorbell solar panel to the 3-bell doorbell solar charger. The reason for this is that you can order the right voltage for the solar panels. The solar panels are either 5.5V or 6V.
