This is one powerful beast. You need space in the housing power supply bay. I use the Fractal Design Define C Case and the bottom compartment is very tight. I had to fully extend the drive trays in the bottom bay to ensure there was enough room to route the power cables. The PSU WAS very quiet and the fan was imperceptible compared to my case fans and GPU fans. About 1.5 years after installing it on my system, the PSU fan spins when my system is powered while playing games. The fan began to squeak intermittently when booting the system. I've asked for an RMA, but honestly I'm scared of the 2-3 week wait and $20-30 shipping costs that come with the process. Due to the large amount of squeaky PSU fan mail related to EVGA PSUs, I am considering selling it to someone who is willing to put in the money and time to look into EVGA. I will avoid EVGA power supplies in future builds. Aside from the pesky audio issues that pop up from time to time, I find this power supply to be very reliable. My system was not corrupted by strange power issues.
