It is quite difficult to comment, because essentially a unique niche. There are no alternatives. This is a really well-implemented concept of a portable-stationary set-top box. It is convenient and interesting to play in all variants. There were no problems, inconveniences or failures. The only thing that can be a stop factor when buying is the lack of the games you need on the platform. In other cases, it is "mandatory to purchase."
Pros
- - Portable-stationary console format. It is convenient to play both on the console itself on the road or on vacation, and through the TV from the sofa. - Fully functional package. Allows you to fully play games in all versions (via TV, together, etc.). You don't need to buy anything. - Performance is enough for fairly heavy games such as Skyrim or Legend of Zelda. - A large number of games for a children's audience, including those focused on playing together.
Cons
- Not so much disadvantages as features of the platform: - unreasonably high prices for games (conditionally 4 times more expensive than a PC, 2 times more expensive than other consoles) - unreasonably expensive accessories. The same pro-controller costs more than XBOX\controller, but is made noticeably worse. - a small number of AAA class games and complex implementation, games mostly "like for old consoles", indies with flat pixel graphics. However, this is gradually changing. - when buying games on cartridges, DLCs for them are sold only in the e-store. Those. when you sell a cartridge, DLCs remain dead weight, you can’t sell them. - lack of Bluetooth for connecting headphones
