I bought 3 projectors last week and returned them because they wouldn't even connect to my iPhone with a Lightning HDMI cable (as advertised). I had to buy separately. My sole purpose of using this equipment is to project still images (jpg, png) in my studio art projects to display large scale objects. Screen mirroring projects everything you see on your phone screen. I give it 5 stars for its easy setup and wireless operation with my iPhone (also works wirelessly with Android phones). And if you don't have Wi-Fi access and want to connect to your smartphone, there's no need to buy an extra cable, just use the charging cable that came with your phone and plugs directly into the projector's USB port. Picture quality is crisp, although I haven't used it for video and probably never will. The art directors on my office's creative team use a much more expensive $300 projector that doesn't even have WiFi for the same purpose. This projector matches more expensive models for the purpose I need. And maybe even watch a movie in the backyard tonight :)
