I have high porosity 3A hair. I am very unhappy that the return window has closed for me. For weeks I thought this product (along with other Moroccanoil curl formulas) was good for my hair as it made it less frizzy and easier to comb. The curls looked defined and I was excited to explore the Holy Grail line of products. Two weeks ago I noticed a large amount of hair breakage while showering and styling, in addition to the normal shedding that curly hair is used to. These products are the only things I've changed in my skincare routine, along with Moroccanoil serum, hair shampoo, and curl cream. Well, I am ashamed that I did not review the products and carefully check the ingredients before purchasing. Silicones are at the heart of the Argan Oil Serum and all other curly hair products in the line. Washing and styling formulas contain alcohol, which is also not suitable for brittle hair strands. This leave-in cream has both plus mineral oil! I'm actually a bit overwhelmed that curly hair formulas can contain ingredients that are the absolute worst thing you can put your hair through! Needless to say, I've put all my Moroccanoil products aside and have no plans to leave them on my scalp again. The most frustrating thing is that these products are expensive and I feel like an addict because I actually gave the company a wad of coins so they could ruin my hair. And the damage was so stealthy and slow that the return window closed on me before I realized how terrible these products were for my hair. Judging by the price, these bottles should be quality, not snake oil. I go back to my Ayurvedic formulas (although it takes more work and is expensive) and pray the damage is mitigated. listed.
