This product didn't work for me on the first try. I couldn't get the veggies to stay there. The photo gives the impression of a metal spike going through and holding it in place, which was not present in the resulting product. The blade looks a little intimidating as it's broken off in places. Try twisting the veggies with your hand and slicing through the nail with your thumb, a very thin and dangerous object. about it, but I don't recommend anything about it.
