You use a lot of hot glue.
So when I got my wreath I hung it on the door and two days later I opened the door and three of the five buds fell off. So if you hang a wreath on a door that also has storm doors and faces west, the sun will melt the pinecones off the wreath. They are hot glued. Wouldn't buy this again.
