Even if the instructions only claim an accuracy of approx. +/-200g for <20kg (half the value for a weight over 20kg), I found that the scale it is much more accurate than using very small scales. . In fact, I'd say it's 10 times more accurate in several tests I've run using calibration weights and other items. For example, I had a 200g calibration weight that weighed 200g and a 500g weight that weighed 510g, both much more accurate than +/- 200g. A nice feature is also the ability to disable data hold. You need to disable data hold for at least half of all apps, so don't lose the instructions, like (you hold center TARE button, then press on/off once HOFF/HON appears as far as I remember. If you want to turn it off, you need to turn it off again after replacing the 2032 batteries). The only feature I'd really like is the ability to set the auto-off time to over 1 minute (or turn it off entirely), but I suppose that can be dealt with.
