Works with my Mac but has limitations

I'm sure like many people you are suddenly working from home and need better audio quality for conference calls or interviews. I just wanted better audio quality compared to Webex, which seems to be particularly bad at handling Bluetooth, at least on macOS. Anyway, I recently bought this adapter and was originally going to buy another brand that specifically states support for Mac, but it was out of stock and when I looked for an alternative I didn't notice that this one said it was on Mac would not work . You can tell it's made of good materials, but when I first plugged in the headphones, everything worked fine except for the mic. I went to the product page and shook my head. Having little experience with music tech I would see if I can get it working before switching to something else. I'm using a mid 2015 15" MacBook Pro, Sennheiser HD 650 headphones and an Antlion mod microphone. V4 The trick to getting the adapter to work for me was so stupid I couldn't believe it. You're unfamiliar with TRS, which is a 3.5mm headphone jack with two colored rings around it (they're usually black, white, or red). 2. Unplug your headphones. 3. Plug your headphones into this adapter, then plug your microphone into the microphone side of this adapter.4. With the headphones and microphone already connected, connect the adapter to the other end. internal microphone"I hope this helps some of you!
