Don't think, just buy!
I have to say I wasn't expecting much from this starter. I have a 1981 VW Rabbit pickup that I swapped out for a 2004 VW Jetta with a TDI engine and needed a new starter motor. To my surprise this thing kicked ass, starts right up every time, even on these slightly cold mornings here at 40F, it's been running for months now, and once the glow plugs warm up it starts almost immediately. Better than my 2000 gas starter 2.0 on my Jetta. Definitely worth every penny. All connections match the bew tdi engine.
