does the job. Not a perfect match.

I have had this door knob installed for a year now and it works perfectly. Not the easiest of installs, but that's not the fault of the part itself (hitch clamps are a little tricky). However, if you have a crew cab or truck in good condition, you may need an OEM. The mold lines and stitching are slightly different from the originals so they don't match exactly, and the grip itself feels a little cheaper (the back of the grip flexes a bit when compressed compared to the OEM). In my case it was on a 12 year old truck with over 200,000 miles and rust on the bedside and sill. I only needed a pen to get the job done when the original's hinge broke. It did the job and was cheaper than OEM. Good enough.
