Instructions needed for binoculars and scope

We bought this telescope for our 8 year old. The telescope looks as advertised, is easy to assemble, and comes with multiple lenses, but there's no instruction manual so we can't figure out how to use it. We put the lens in the eye hole, but then it is not visible through the telescope. We haven't used it since day one. upset.
