This is a great jacket for a rainy day, but I wouldn't say it's great for a cold, snowy day. As other reviewers have mentioned, the size can be disabled. I ordered a small for my 8lb Yorkie and it was a bit big. The biggest problem with this is that it stains easily. If you have a smaller, shorter dog whose tummy gets wet/dirty when you walk him, then he's not going to be easy to clean. I've tried hand and machine washing, but stains won't come off, so I recommend choosing a darker color.
