Not suitable for complex macrame projects

I was so excited when I ordered this cord because of the price and the colors available. I bought for a specific macrame project and am very disappointed. This cable is so thick and feels like plastic cable, not nylon or cotton. My knots keep coming undone and I can't use it for this project even though I cut the cord to size. I will not buy it again for macrame. I also tried using it for a beading project and the cord is too thick to go through all but the largest beads.

Pros

Material: Made of polyester and lightly waxed for weaving, knotting and macrame. Easy to maneuver and leaves no traces.

This is false advertising. It is NOT waxed cotton or polyester. It feels and looks like plastic!
