At first I was skeptical that magnets could hold the phone. I've read that phones can sag when accelerating. I believe it has to do with how well the circular adhesive disc on the back of the phone is centered. Also the weight of the phone. My phone case doesn't allow me to center it perfectly from top to bottom. I mount my phone sideways so I was afraid it would rotate on the mount but it stays in place. I once experienced sag when going full throttle after stopping. Haha, just putting it back in place is enough. Under normal driving conditions, it doesn't move at all. 10 out of 10 would buy again. The metal bracket fits perfectly and is secure. It also looks classy. Update: I've had it since October 2019. I'm still very happy with them. I still have the same phone and case. You definitely need a new magnet on your cell phone, the original one comes off, but it holds tight. I had excessive phone sag, but this was easily remedied by cleaning the chrome ball and phone mount that was sticking to it with rubbing alcohol. I had to retighten the hex bolts once or twice. Overall still very satisfied!
