I bought these because I wanted a cheap metal tube that AAA batteries fit in. Those tricks. For reference: length 214mm, outer diameter 12mm, inner diameter 11mm, wall thickness 0.5mm. The ends are slightly rounded, resulting in an inner diameter of approx. 9.9 mm through the lip. The same rounding will result if you use a pipe cutter. The rapid advance opened it up to 10.5mm ID
