This tool is required to loosen the serpentine belt tensioner on my 2007 Honda CR-V to allow the belt to be removed from the pulleys for replacement or other related work. It has a 14mm offset jack on one end and a 19mm jack on the other. The 14mm socket fits the tensioner pulley bolt (factory recommended torque is 41 lbf ft) and the 19mm socket can be used to remove or install the power steering pump pulley (it can be secured with a short box end wrench ; recommended torque for your nut is 47 ft-lbs). Removing this pulley allows for easier access to the underlying components such as the belt tensioner and pulley, water pump and alternator. The 25 3/4" length of this special tool provides enough leverage to easily loosen the belt tensioner, which has a resistance of about 35 ft-lbs, which is difficult to manage in the very tight space on this car. Typical labor costs in My area for replacing the serpentine belt on this vehicle is around $160 so this tool is a great money saving option for a DIYer.The only similar tool I could find with a 14mm offset head, is an extra long offset aviation wrench that can be used with a second wrench or an extension. The socket needs to be moved to avoid damaging the 14mm turnbuckle which is extremely difficult to access. As an edited note I found later found that the best way to access the belt tensioner bolt is from underneath after the fender and right front wheel have been removed key is all you need when accessing under the spanner.
