Works great at a great price - a cheap alternative to expensive flash drives

I need to store LOTS of data. Flash drives and SD cards are incredibly expensive, and an external hard drive can cost anywhere from $80 to $160 or more. I found the perfect solution. I go to eBay and buy a good used 500GB 2.5" SATA hard drive, grab one of those $7 external hard drives (at the time of my purchase) and I have a 500GB external hard drive for less than 20 dollars! Not much can be said about these cases, loosen the two mini-Phillips screws, slide the hard disk into the slot, slide it back into the case and screw it tight again. The only thing keeping the hard drive from rattling is a piece of styrofoam, but hey. It's less than $10 and if you're not playing frisbee with it, you're fine. It comes with a reversible USB cable to ensure the drive has enough power. Make sure you connect both ends of the USB cable to your computer before connecting the other end to the drive so that the drive has full performance right from the start. Avoid all or data problems. You can't go wrong with this case!
